GALLIVANT [verb]

to go around from one place to another in the pursuit of pleasure or entertainment

It seems appropriate that I love this word as I used do a lot of gallivanting in order to ignore my feelings and my life in general. But there comes a time where gallivanting is done for sheer pleasure, for rest, for the experience of contentment.

I wish you all make space for gallivanting for some time this week. Responsibility is commendable, yet is shouldn’t exclude some fun.
